Welcome to "Il Teatro," your home away from home in San Gimignano, just steps from Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Cisterna. Located in a historic 1250 building, "Il Teatro" was renovated in 2024 and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay: air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, kitchen with induction hob, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, oven, fridge and freezer, bathroom with large shower, hairdryer, 43-inch Smart TV with streaming platforms. The two double bedrooms are cool and quiet: the first has a double bed plus, on request, an extra bed and/or a crib; the second can be set up with two single beds or a double bed. Stay at "Il Teatro" to experience life like a local: on Thursdays and Saturdays, the local market is held in Piazza Duomo and Piazza delle Erbe. The calendar is full of cultural and sports events all year round. In the historic center, you have all services close by: pharmacies, post office, banks, vet, florist, clothing stores, laundromat, grocery stores, and restaurants. There are many quality restaurants (even just downstairs!), as well as pizzerias and trattorias. Please note: the apartment is in a restricted traffic area, but parking is available just 200 meters away. The apartment is on the second floor of a historic building without an elevator. You will need to carry your luggage up the stairs, so we recommend wheeled or light suitcases. The tourist tax applies for an additional fee.
